December News at SNP

WOW, I cannot believe it is December, this year has gone by fast!!!  This month the designers at Scraps N Pieces, have created a amazing, kit!  The colors are perfect for this time of year.  This months kit is called: Growing In Faith.  I LOVE the Deep Rich Colors and the Elements are a perfect!!!

Bits and Pieces turned out so fun, with a soft color palette   The theme this month is Cabin Fever.  I love the take on this, and how the designers came up with there own make on Cabin Fever.

Thankful

It's a bit weird for me to be doing a Thanksgiving themed kit when my own Thanksgiving was 6 weeks ago, but the kit seemed much more suited to American Thanksgiving so I held it. I hope if you celebrated this week that you had a great Holiday. Thankful is 40% off from Nov 25th to Dec 1st.

Super Saturday Sale

This was a very strange week for me. My daughter has been in playschool since the beginning of September with no issues. I actually expected her to have separation anxiety in the beginning because she's always been a mommy's girl, but nothing, she LOVES school. Until this week. Tuesday she cried after I left cause she missed me. Wednesday she cried as I was leaving, didn't want me to go, I stayed a few minutes longer and cried in the parking lot. Thursday she flipped out when we left the house, kicking screaming & dragging her heels. I explained to her that school is her job & her responsibility. Daddy goes to work every day, even if he's tired & doesn't want to, mommy takes care of Deirdre every day. She didn't cry, so that was good. I hope she feels better next week.

The weather is warming up a bit and pumpkins are wilting on the doorstep, time to get rid of them. We have such insanely fluctuating weather here, I love it but it can be crazy if you don't grow up with it.

The other weird thing was a really nice thing. I always wanted to be the mom who bakes with her kids, does messy crafts etc. I couldn't though cause I stressed out so much about the mess. I finally realized it as anxiety though and went on Anti-Anxiety meds and they are finally at the right level that this morning I made banana bread with my daughter, it was messy but it was so much fun.

Fall Frolick

As you can see from my previous two posts, fall has kind of flown the coop around these parts. Last year we were spoiled, unusually so, that we had fall weather pretty much until spring. This year we definitely got winter. I'm glad I bought my daughters Halloween costume a size bigger since she had to wear it over snow pants lol.

Fall is one of my favourite seasons though (right behind spring). Both have the beautiful not too cold & not too hot weather & the rain and beautiful (though very different) scenery. Fall Frolick is a fun kit with all the beautiful colours of Fall. It's perfect for scrapping pictures of playing in the leaves, orchard visits, hayrides, nature walks and so much more. Super Saturday

If you saw my last post you know exactly why I'm feeling in an awfully Christmass-y mood lately. We have snow and LOTS of it! So to celebrate (or... what's the opposite of celebrate? lament maybe?) the snow I have 3 great deals for you! All 3 kits are just $2 Today only!
