Merry & Bright

This release is a couple days later than I had intended but I keep getting caught up in holiday fun. My daughters Preschool put on a concert at her Christmas party that was SO much fun. My husband got home early so we took Deirdre to see Santa and arrived at exactly the right time where there was no line so we could take all the pictures we wanted! I found out that my step-sisters friends (and their adorable baby!) are going to be having dinner with us all Christmas Eve so I went to Michaels and have been busy all evening crocheting a present for the little angel.

Merry & Bright was inspired by all the fun & funky ornaments that I see everywhere lately. I just love bright colours (I'm sure you can tell bu the majority of my kits lol) and it just inspired me. So much so the Christmas kit I actually planned was put aside until next year lol. I hope you like it, and a reminder that ALL my Christmas kits are 40% off until the end of December!

Away In a Manger

First, I want to formally welcome my fabulous new CT members to the team: Bethany, Denise, Jacqui, Katherine, Melissa & Melissa. Also my fantastic new CT Lead Lauren!

I don't really consider myself religious at this time in my life but I have so many great memories from growing up in church as a child. One of my favourite things about Christmas when I was growing up was the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. I grew up in the Moravian Church so every year we got the beeswax candles with the frilly red crepe paper skirts to catch wax. It was always so special. I also loves seeing the Christmas Putz (Christmas Village), which was put on every year of the 4 Sundays of the Advent and we would all sing Hosanna.
